Kirk Crowther, the Advocacy Leadership Manager at the Canadian Down Syndrome Society, was nominated for a Premier's Council Award of Excellence. Kirk Crowther is our leading expert in a broad area of subjects surrounding Down syndrome and has over 20 years experience working with people with disabilities. The Premier's Council Award of Excellence is given out by The Premier's Council on the Status of Persons with Disabilities. The intent of the program is to publicly honor the efforts and accomplishments of individuals, groups, and organiztions to develop barrier free environments in Alberta. |
