The Library

The Library software is bilingual (English/French) book sorting training application created to help users improve their book shelving skills using the Library of Congress classification system by practicing in an electronic environment.  The software was created to be usable by persons with intellectual disabilities and the reward screens can be personalized for each user.  The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission sponsored the development of the program which was carried out by Snowed In Studios.

Ce logiciel bilingue (Anglais/Français) est un outil de perfectionnement permettant  à l’utilisateur d’améliorer ses capacités à classer des livres sur les tablettes dans un environnement virtuel en utilisant le système de Classificatione de la Bibliothèque du Congrès.  Ce logiciel de simulation a été créé afin d’être utilisé par des personnes ayant un handicap intellectuel et le système de récompense sur écran peut être personnalisé selon les besoins de chaque utilisateur. Le développement du logiciel a été soutenu par Le Conseil de la radiodiffusion et des télécommunications canadiennes et exécuté par Snowed In Studios.
